Amendment to the Regulation on Unlicensed Electricity Generation in the Electricity Market.

The "Regulation Amending the Regulation on Unlicensed Electricity Generation in the Electricity Market" was published in the Official Gazette dated September 12, 2023 and numbered 32307.

According to this;

The fifteenth paragraph of Article 26 of the Regulation on Unlicensed Electricity Generation in the Electricity Market published in the Official Gazette dated 12.05.2019 and numbered 30772 has been amended as follows:

"In the event that the generation facilities within the scope of subparagraph (ç) of the first paragraph of Article 5 and the generation facilities within the scope of subparagraph (h) of the first paragraph of Article 5 are established together, provided that the facility within the scope of subparagraph (ç) of the first paragraph of Article 5 operates; If energy is supplied to the grid from the facility within the scope of subparagraph (h) of the first paragraph of Article 5 as a result of monthly offsetting, the amount of energy in question is evaluated within the scope of YEKDEM in accordance with the procedure in the sixth paragraph in accordance with the relevant legislation. The total installed capacity of the generation facilities within the scope of this paragraph cannot exceed the total installed capacity to be determined according to the associated consumption facility pursuant to subparagraph (h) of the first paragraph of Article 5."

The Regulation will enter into force on 01.10.2023.
